Aunty Lilly was always a thoughtful and caring person - thinking of others first, even while she was ill. She made sure that you always had a large lunch before leaving her house, even while she was in hospital and ready to get out of her hospital bed to make the lunch for you. She spent hours watching her squirrel, who made his home on her patio deck. She loved auction sales and that brought a big smile to her face when we talked about it while she was in hospital last month. I had the chance to spend some time with her at her home, watching her squirrel, reminiscing about the 'olden days', cooking with her and just having a really nice time. I will always have good memories of Aunty Lilly which I will continue to share with her sons Edward (and good friend Doreen), Carl and Paul.
